elrow Family Sustainability and Inclusion Policy

GOAL: This document aims to establish a clear and defined framework for integrating sustainable and inclusive practices across all company activities. Through this policy, we seek to minimize environmental impact, promote social well-being, and ensure economic efficiency in every process. Together, these principles form a key tool to ensure compliance with our ethical, social, and environmental commitments, and to align our operations with global sustainability standards.

In addition, we have implemented an impact measurement system through a Sustainability Score, based on key KPIs such as carbon footprint, resource consumption efficiency, social impact, and fairness in hiring. This Score allows us to continuously evaluate and improve our actions.

SCOPE: This policy applies to all operational areas of the company, including resource management, production, distribution, supplier relations, and interaction with local communities. It covers all activities carried out in our facilities, events, and projects, as well as the actions of our employees, contractors, and business partners.

INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY & COMMITMENTS: Our sustainability strategy is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and takes into account ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Environmental Commitments

Resource Management

  1. Implement management practices that minimize resource consumption, such as the use of recycled materials and the selection of suppliers who follow sustainable practices.
  2. Adopt energy-efficient technologies, including investment in low-consumption systems and equipment—such as LED lighting and efficient HVAC systems—to reduce electricity usage.
  3. Promote the use of renewable energy sources in our facilities and events, aiming to achieve greater energy self-sufficiency and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
  4. Establish indicators and monitoring tools to assess the use of different types of resources through up-to-date records that allow for analysis of operational efficiency.
  5. Evaluate the implementation of energy efficiency plans, especially in events with a high dependence on generators.
  6. Adopt a “Zero Waste” policy with measurable and progressive targets through 2030. Implement selective waste collection systems at events and facilities and promote continuous improvement.
  7. Promote resource and material circularity, extending their life cycle and preventing unnecessary waste generation by encouraging repair, refurbishment, and reintegration into new production processes. When reuse is no longer possible, donation or handover will be prioritized before disposal.
  8. Design with a sustainable perspective, integrating eco-design principles to reduce transport-related impacts, extend product lifespan, and ensure proper end-of-life management.
  9. Encourage the distribution of diverse menus that prioritize fresh, seasonal ingredients—supporting the health of attendees and staff, as well as sustainable agriculture and high-quality standards.

Sustainable mobility

  1. Avoid unnecessary travel and prioritize shared vehicles, public transportation, or bicycles for short distances whenever possible. For long distances, train travel should be prioritized over flights when a feasible option exists.
  2. Coordinate employee transportation to optimize and reduce trips made using private vehicles, rental cars, or taxis. When vehicle rental is necessary, electric vehicles should be prioritized whenever possible.
  3. Plan trips in advance to reduce the number of overnight stays, and travel early in the morning with return trips scheduled for the same evening whenever feasible.
  4. Book direct flights, travel light, and avoid stopovers whenever possible. If stopovers are unavoidable, choose the shortest possible layovers.
  5. Be mindful of air conditioning, heating, and other resource usage such as water, in order to reduce our environmental impact.
  6. Choose responsible hotels that implement sustainable practices such as solar energy, waste management, and water conservation. Preference should also be given to accommodations located near the event venue to minimize travel.

Social and ethical commitment

Diversity and Inclusion

  1. Establish policies that promote diversity in employee recruitment, ensuring equitable representation across different genders, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and abilities.
  2. Ensure equal access to development and participation opportunities for all participants, workers, and artists, without discrimination.
  3. Guarantee a living wage for all employees and temporary workers, aligned with principles of fair and equitable pay.

Well-being and Safety

  1. Implement clear protocols for medical assistance and emergency management during events, ensuring the availability of trained personnel and adequate medical resources.
  2. Actively promote awareness around the importance of holistic well-being for attendees and collaborators by providing services and spaces that support physical and mental health—such as rest areas, "Punto Violeta" (safe spaces), and information and risk-prevention stands related to substance use.

Community Impact

  1. Prioritize the hiring of local suppliers to support economic development in the region.
  2. Collaborate with local organizations to identify needs and opportunities for improvement, and design programs that benefit the community, such as training and employment initiatives.
  3. Establish effective communication channels with all stakeholders—including attendees, employees, suppliers, and the local community—to share sustainability actions and gather feedback.

Supplier Procurement

Responsible Selection

  1. Prioritize the selection of suppliers that demonstrate sustainable practices, such as the use of recyclable materials, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and more. This can be verified through various certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, B-Corp, Zero Waste, etc.).
  2. Consider the social impact of suppliers, ensuring they promote fair labor conditions and respect human rights in their operations.
  3. Evaluate the reputation and ethical commitment of suppliers, avoiding collaboration with those who have a history of irresponsible business practices.

Strategic Relationships

  1. Promote the creation of strategic alliances with key suppliers to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that benefit both the company and its partners.
  2. Encourage long-term relationships with suppliers who share the company’s sustainability values, fostering loyalty and mutual commitment to responsible practices.
  3. Evaluate the reputation and ethical commitment of suppliers, avoiding collaboration with those who have a history of irresponsible business practices.

Communication

  1. Establish communication channels to receive feedback and suggestions from suppliers and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
  2. Regularly report supplier performance in relation to sustainability and ethical criteria, increasing transparency throughout the supply chain.

Brand Partners Commitment

  1. Promote and implement our sustainability strategy among our Brand Partners, encouraging practices that reduce environmental impact and generate positive outcomes for local communities.
  2. Include sustainability as a key criterion when selecting Brand Partners and when evaluating the continuity of existing partnerships.
  3. Require Brand Partners to share sustainability reports or internal policies that demonstrate their commitment to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.

Artist Booking

  1. Promote the hiring of local artists at events to support local communities and talent.
  2. Ensure selection processes are based solely on artistic merit and alignment with the event’s values, avoiding any form of discrimination.
  3. Strive for gender and identity representation in each event’s artistic lineup, ensuring visibility and diversity without compromising merit or artistic relevance.
  4. Encourage artists to adopt sustainable practices in their riders, prioritizing sustainable food, waste reduction, low-emission transport, and carbon footprint offsetting.
  5. Build partnerships with artists who lead or support projects that promote social change and environmental protection.

Governance and Transparency

  1. Periodically report on progress and results related to sustainability and social responsibility, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to relevant information.
  2. Measure and evaluate implemented practices, adjusting policies and actions as needed to foster continuous improvement.
  3. Audit our festivals through reputable certifications, allowing us to highlight our efforts and ensure ongoing improvement.
  4. Ensure that all sustainability actions comply with applicable local, national, and international regulations, while upholding strong business ethics.
