The festival, a London iteration of the global dance music brand, will return to the capital on Saturday August 17.
It will leave its original home of Stratford’s Olympic Park and move north to Trent Park in Cockfosters — the same venue as 51st State Festival.
Elrow is known for its colourful, elaborate production, with organisers claiming the new site will enable “more ambitious staging, bustling forest parties, queer dance troupes, wonky races, town trains snaking across the fields and even greater Elrow extravagance”.
The line-up is yet to be revealed, although there will be upwards of 50 DJs in attendance, with a musical focus on house and techno. Last year, Fatboy Slim, Paul Kalkbrenner and Idris Elba were on the bill.
Elrow has grown from its roots as a club in Barcelona into a travelling club event, which has held residencies in Ibiza, Madrid and Amsterdam. This will be the third edition of its London festival.
Ticket details are yet to be announced. Check the website for more information.
